Many churches are spoiled with a eulogizing spirit.
The ultimate miracle is the Word of God, which is able to build us up.
We must know more than just the name of Jesus; we must know and apply His Word.
Those who walk by faith will scare those who walk by sight.
God is our portion.
Summary:
If we walk by faith, we can learn to obey God through our suffering. God wants us to walk by faith and not by sight. Jesus challenges us to deny our life for His life. By faith, Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He denied the riches and benefits of being a part of Pharaoh's family to suffer persecution with the people of God. God revealed to Moses his purpose. Moses was destined to deliver God's people out of Egypt. He made mistakes as we often do, but he kept going. If we want to know our purpose, we must look to God and His Word. If we are growing in God's Word, God will reveal our purpose to us. To stop growing in the Lord is dangerous. If we don't mature, we will never see our destination.
