The spirit of Babylon that is working in the earth today began with Nimrod, the first type of antichrist.
God destroys satanic unity.
Man's will will tempt the Lord.
Babylon will be destroyed. Don't go down with it.
Summary:
The Babylonian religious system is the oldest satanic system of unity. It began with Nimrod, the mighty hunter. He was the first mighty man, king, political agent. The whole earth was on one accord under Nimrod. They were driven by Satan to make a name for themselves. God told the people of that day to spread out in the earth. They decided they wanted to stay together in one place and build a tower and a city that could reach heaven. When we go in the opposite direction of God, we are against God. We are tempting God. Nimrod was the first antichrist figure. He had power over commerce, religion, and politics. The spirit of Babylon is still present in the world today. The scriptures tell us to come out from her, Babylon, or we will be destroyed with her. Babylon represents man's will apart from God. The spirit of Babylon is backed by Satan. The devil uses the Word of God in the wrong way. He wants to hide the fact that when one inappropriately applies the Word they are tempting God. Satan used the scriptures to try to get Jesus to commit suicide. Jesus new that Satan was applying the scriptures incorrectly. Be careful. Some things may sound right, but we must make sure that the application is not against God.
